Continuing with the fossil like feel i have started to explore ceramics. I wanted a way for the pieces to begin to feel more fragile. Having an inside and an outside became important too... so slip casting was the answer! After making a two part mould of one of my cast plaster pieces, just as an initial experiment i have been leaving the slip in the moulds for different lengths of time. This resulted in the pieces being different thicknesses and in turn doing exciting things.
