MA Blog (May)
After realising my work is starting to focus more on the impressions one material leaves on the other, and that relationship, I started to explore a little print work. I was most intrigued by the prints that didn't quite print perfectly. The faint broken marks began to appear more like accidental residue that was left behind rather than a purposeful print. I also liked the embossed quality lace and fabric left on the paper when no ink is used, like an almost invisible fossilized record of its presence. I am going to look into this further alongside my sculptural work.
